The „Swiss Animal Liberation Agenda“ intends to provide a plattform for people and groups who are or want to be active in animal rights / liberation. Our aim is to create a calendar with all the animal rights / liberation activities in Switzerland, where you can find information and details on planned actions you may wish to join.
The SALA collective consists of several activists all over Switzerland. The fact that we run this website doesn't mean that we run the Swiss animal liberation movement. You are the movement! We encourage groups and people to organize their own actions and events and invite all antispeciesist groups or people to inform us about any initiatives they know about or are organising in Switzerland so we can publish them on our website.
The SALA website will provide you with:
- Information about ongoing activities: The calendar is meant to publish all public animal liberation activities in Switzerland. Please let us know if you are organising something you want to be made public.
- Information about running campaigns: Here you find some information about different animal rights campaigns, regional as well as global.
- News: We try to publish all news about global animal liberation activism.
- Material: Because we know it's not always easy to have the right information material for actions, we try to help through providing flyers, posters and other stuff for download. Also you can send us your material for upload. We try to collect information material on all animal liberation topics.
- Past action reports: Reports and pictures from past actions.
Please also take a close look at the Animal Liberation Hallmarks (www.al-hallmarks.net), which contain what we consider the basics for animal liberation activism. Although we focus our activism on animal liberation issues, we keep in mind that animal liberation is only part of a bigger struggle, namely liberation of (human and non-human) animals and earth. We do not want to tolerate any kind of discriminating, oppressive, (...) ideology or acting.
