Leafletting, info stalls and video projection
Handing out leaflets to people is a very common type of action. It is important that you have good leaflets with correct information. Make your own leaflets or print those you like. Also on the SALA website you will find a collection of flyers which you can download and print. You can hand out leaflets in front of a store which sells animal products, in front of a circus with animals, just somewhere in the city, distribute them in your school, put them in info corners in cafés and restaurants and so on. Legal notice: you don't need an authorization for leafletting if you are alone and on public ground and your leaflet has an ideal / political content!
You usually need a permission for the info stall and the video projection. Info stalls could be done in a special occasion like a market, a fair, concerts, or in a busy part of the city anytime. Like for leafletting you need good materials, you can also put up a donation box and collect some money for your local group. Videos about animal exploitation could be showed in the city, preferably when it is already dark, on a tv-screen, a computer or better projected on a wall or white material with a beamer.
