Although you can also do actions on your own, it is easier and more fun and above all safer to do them together with other animal liberation activists. You think you are the only person interested in animal liberation and there is nobody else? Probably wrong! There are many people who think like you, you just have to find them. A good way to get to know other activists is to go to animal liberation demonstrations and events. You will find many demos and events on the SALA calendar. Most likely there will already be groups or a network of people near to where you live. You can also write us an e-mail and we will try to get you some contacts.

Create a group: think about a nice and quite place where it is possible to have a meeting, fix a date an publicize it in your city/area as the first meeting of the new local animal libaration group! Create a flyer that you can put around in schools, organic shops, pubs, vegetarian restaurants, squats, libraries...and the SALA website of course! Once at the meeting, make clear what you would like to do and keep in touch with the interested people through a mailing list and further meetings, where you can plan your first actions. Don’t forget to inform us about it!
